Born in the rolling hills of the Mississippi Delta, Fulton Books author Rhunda Armstead has completed her first book, Seasons of Singleness: Navigating as a Christian Single, a fascinating exploration of balancing biblical principles as a single in modern day society.
Having years of experience as a Christian single, Rhunda has learned how to navigate emotional gaps in her life that were not always fulfilled through personal achievements or relationships. Her book provides a thought provoking look at how one can prepare for the different seasons of singleness, while still honoring Christ. Deeply personal and eye-opening, Armstead shares her story in hopes of helping other adult singles adopt a new perspective of their singleness and learn how it can co-exist with contentment and happiness.
After graduating from Delta State University, Rhunda relocated to Indianapolis, IN, which is where she began her single life. Rhunda began to journal her experiences and detected signs and symptoms of negative seasons approaching. She began to understand these symptoms and crafted strategies to navigate successfully. This journal became her regular go-to for encouragement, strategy, and motivation. She believes God asked her to share her lessons so that she can not only encourage herself, but other singles as well, which gave birth to Seasons of Singleness.
Rhunda currently resides in Spring Hill, TN and can often be found exploring nearby walking trails, enjoying live music, spending time with family, and attending church services and local events. She loves traveling to new places and exploring new cultures. Her favorite quote is from Maya Angelou, “We may encounter many defeats, but we must not be defeated.”
