Every time I trek through Franklin, I make sure to stop in at Landmark. On my first visit, I had a lovely, long conversation with the owner, and ever since, it's felt like visiting a friend. The antebellum building has loads of character, and it's brimming with books without feeling over crowded. There are countless little nooks and crannies to explore, and the selection of books is well-organized and easy to access. One of my favorite extra features is the little reading porch on the second story! Definitely make this a stop on your trip to Franklin, whether you're looking for a book, or just a comfortable glimpse of local character and history.
