The author grew up in New England and Southern California and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2002 in Mathematics. She worked in the corporate world before launching her own business on Etsy in 2006. Resettling onto a farm in Middle Tennessee has provided a rewarding lifestyle that embraces an opportunity to combine her artistic gifts with the practical realities of farm life.
