Liz King was raised in Southern California, where she was immersed in the Disney and motion picture industries. This environment sparked her passion for storytelling. Over the course of four decades, she guided others in bringing their stories to life through book design, graphic arts, and media. Ten years ago, during a visit to Middle Tennessee, Liz and her family fell in love with the Southern charm and are now proud to call it their home. Liz is a proud wife and mother of three children, a son-in-law, daughter in-law, and two grandchildren.
Liz has recently formed, The Story Collective, to empower others to embrace their creativity and express their unique voice through the art of storytelling.
“You Still Matter”, her first book, was created in loving memory of her mother-in-law, whom she lost to dementia. This activity book serves as a heartfelt resource for those navigating the challenges of memory loss, as well as for caregivers and family members. It gently reminds us that even as memories fade, our loved ones still matter deeply and are cherished.
