Varina Buntin Willse is an award-winning writer of spiritual and narrative nonfiction. Her upcoming title Beneath and Between: And Other Overlooked Words that Illuminate God (Broadleaf Books) will be released in September 2026. Varina’s career spans two-and-a-half decades of writing, teaching, content creation, and strategic leadership. She co-created the inaugural digital brand of a major national magazine, served on the administrative team that established a new high school, and established her own writing firm specializing in legacy books. She holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Oxford University. She and her family live among the trees in Nashville, Tennessee.
