We are so grateful for the incredible response from our local author community — the enthusiasm has been truly overwhelming! Because we want to give every submission the attention it deserves, we now open our local author submission process twice a year: once in January and once in July. Submissions outside these windows will not be reviewed, so we encourage you to bookmark this page and plan ahead!
Our next submission window opens: July 1, 2026
When the submission window is open, here’s how the process works:
- Local authors only.
- Fill out our submission form to tell us about your book. (Form will be active during submission windows only.)
- Please note: we can only carry books that are available on Ingram, are returnable, have at least a 30% discount, are not on consignment, and do not contain AI-generated content or illustrations.
- After submitting, Landmark will review all entries and be in touch around the beginning of February for the January window and the beginning of August for the July window — at which point we will communicate next steps for those whose books are a good fit for Landmark.
