Debbie is the author of the children’s book, My Lucy. In this sweet, rhyming book she introduces her adorable dog, Lucy. She hopes that it will resonate with all dog lovers, young and old alike, and that children everywhere will love Lucy so much that they will be eager to read. Debbie plans to write a whole series of Lucy books!
She resides in southern Middle Tennessee, where she was born and raised. She is a real estate agent, as well as a mom & grandmother. When her daughter attended Lipscomb University, Debbie would visit Landmark Booksellers on her trips through Franklin. She said her visits there encouraged her to pursue her dream of publishing a children’s book.
Fun fact about Debbie: She works as a background actress in Nashville, and has appeared as an extra on several tv shows and movies. Hannah Montana the Movie and the tv show “Nashville” were two of her very favorites to be in.
