William Hudson

William A. Hudson

William A. Hudson is a relative newcomer to the literary world, but has been writing in some form or fashion since his days as an awkward Middle School kid. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Virginia Commonwealth University, and currently works with High School students in Franklin, Tennessee.

Prior to writing a Middle School mystery book, William has written for Exotica Moderne, a Tiki/Mid-Century Modern lifestyle magazine. William’s writing influences include Donald J. Sobol, Arthur Ransome, Mark Twain, Agatha Christie, and C.S. Forester, to name a few. William also draws from his own life experiences for much of his writing influence and inspiration. He was an exchange student in Germany during High School, lived in a tent in Everglades National Park for the better part of 1993, and spent a portion of his childhood living in a cemetery in rural Prince George, Virginia. And when he’s not writing, William enjoys playing ukulele, reading, drawing, painting, hiking, biking and canoeing. William currently resides in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife and a stubborn, but lovable little dog.
