Landmark Booksellers hosts a wide variety of author events—from intimate book signings to lively discussions—and also manages book sales at external events throughout the Nashville area. All sales are reported weekly to The New York Times and BookScan, ensuring your work receives the recognition it deserves.
Event Options
Author Events
$250 · At Landmark or NearbyLandmark Booksellers offers a warm and inviting venue for author events in the heart of historic downtown Franklin. Surrounded by Franklin’s vibrant literary community, the bookstore provides an ideal setting for connecting authors with readers and creating memorable experiences.
Event Details
- Event Fee: $250
- Sales Split: 60/40 (Author retains 60%, Landmark retains 40% if author provides books)
- Books: Authors are responsible for providing their own copies. In the event an author cannot supply books, Landmark will order them for the event when available through our warehouse, on the condition that the author purchases all remaining copies at Landmark’s cost following the event.

- Professionally printed event poster featuring your name, book title, description, headshot, date, time, and location
- Promotion across Landmark’s social media platforms (Facebook event, Instagram post and stories)
- Feature in Landmark’s newsletter (10,000+ subscribers)
- Additional advertising in three local Franklin groups and on our website
- Use of tables, tablecloths, and space for food or beverages you provide
- Microphone and speaker system for your presentation or reading
On-Site Event Sales
$450We can handle all the book sales at your event in the Nashville area, so you can focus on creating a great experience for your attendees. Here’s what you get:
- Increased Sales: Our team will manage book sales and transactions, allowing you to connect with more attendees.
- Simplified Event Management: No need to worry about handling cash or credit cards at your event.
- Profit Sharing: Keep 60% of all book sales, while Landmark takes care of the transaction fees.
Children’s Room Readings
No CostHost an engaging storytime in Landmark Booksellers’ charming Children’s Room, a cozy space perfect for young readers and families. Children’s readings are a wonderful way to share your book, connect with the community, and inspire a love of reading.

- When: Saturdays between 11 AM – 1 PM
- Duration: One-hour time slot (book using our online form)
- Event Fee: None — children’s readings are free to host
- Books: Authors must provide their own copies for sale

Pre-Order ManagementWe offer a Signed Pre-Order Management Service for authors seeking a trusted bookstore partner to handle online sales of signed copies. Our team manages every step of the process—from setting up the pre-order page and processing transactions to organizing signing logistics and securely fulfilling each customer order.
This service allows authors to focus on connecting with readers while we take care of the operations, ensuring a seamless experience for fans eager to receive a personally signed edition.
