Landmark Booksellers is proud to support local authors, and we are always excited to discover new voices from the Middle Tennessee community.
While we highly prioritize local authors, if you are an indie or self-published author who does not live in the Middle Tennessee area but still believe your book would be an exceptionally good fit for Landmark Booksellers, please feel free to submit it for consideration. We are happy to take a look.
How We Stock Local Titles
Rather than carrying books on consignment, we purchase all titles directly into our inventory, either buying directly from you or ordering through Ingram, at a wholesale discount of at least 35%.
How to Submit Your Book
We do not accept unsolicited copies dropped off at the store. Instead, please fill out the Local Author Submission Form below, and a member of our team will get back to you within two weeks. Any copies dropped off at the store against this policy become the property of Landmark Booksellers and may be sold or donated without notice.
Our Review Process
We review and consider every submission based on current sales data and inventory needs, essentially how well we think a title is likely to perform on our shelves based on sales history. This is never a judgment on the quality of your writing or the value of your book, but simply a reflection of what is currently moving in our store and the best use of the limited space we have available.
All decisions on a submitted title are final, but if you write another book down the road, we would be happy to take a fresh look.
