If You Take a Groundhog Home as a Pet

Just in time for Groundhog Day, If You Take a Groundhog Home as a Pet is the second book from the series from our  "Mom and son" team  about a determined little boy who tries to take home different pets. The series was started to inspire a frustrated, ADHD little boy to want to learn. Written from Payton's voice with Mom as guided author, it continues to build on the same principles but adds the dynamic of normal frustration of chores, responsibilities, importance of slowing down/paying attention, sibling interactions, the importance of teamwork, problem solving and how we have to have permission from our parents. The book touches on gardening, Groundhog Day, and what it is like to be in a news station including how some of the filming works.
