Magnifica Humanitas (Magnificent Humanity): On Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence by Pope Leo XIV, Robert Barron

Magnifica Humanitas is Pope Leo XIV’s bold and timely first encyclical, a sweeping meditation on artificial intelligence, human dignity, technology, war, labor, truth, and the future of civilization itself. Framing the modern world as a choice between the Tower of Babel and the rebuilding of Jerusalem, Pope Leo confronts the promises and perils of AI with spiritual depth, moral clarity, and prophetic urgency.

Drawing from Scripture, philosophy, and the rich tradition of Catholic social teaching, Magnifica Humanitas offers a compelling Christian vision of the human person in an age increasingly shaped by machines.

This special edition from Word on Fire includes a foreword by Bishop Robert Barron.
